Langues minoritaires et communication humanitaire : communiquer sur la santé mentale auprès des minorités de langues
Cette conférence invite des propositions portant sur les pratiques de communication en santé mentale lorsqu’elles s’élaborent au sein de langues minoritaires. Elle souhaite accueillir des travaux qui analysent les dynamiques culturelles, sociolinguistiques, psycholinguistiques et éthiques liées à la transmission d’informations sensibles, à l’accompagnement psychologique et à la médiation communautaire dans des contextes humanitaires variés. L’objectif est de mettre en lumière les formes de discours, les dispositifs communicationnels et les stratégies locales permettant de rendre la santé mentale accessible à des populations dont les langues et les référents culturels sont en situation de minoration.
Les propositions peuvent aborder des études de terrain, des analyses théoriques, des approches comparatives, des retours d’expérience d’acteurs de terrain ou des réflexions sur l’élaboration d’outils d’information et de sensibilisation. Les travaux portant sur les interactions entre professionnels de la santé, médiateurs linguistiques et publics vulnérables seront particulièrement appréciés.
Les recherches explorant la création de terminologies adaptées, la traduction spécialisée, la médiation humanitaire, la circulation des représentations de la santé mentale ou la prise en compte des cadres narratifs propres aux communautés concernées sont également bienvenues.
Minority languages and humanitarian communication: communicating about mental health among language minorities
This conference invites proposals focusing on practices of mental health communication as they are developed within minority languages. It aims to host contributions that analyse the cultural, sociolinguistic, psycholinguistic and ethical dynamics involved in conveying sensitive information, providing psychological support and ensuring community mediation in diverse humanitarian contexts. The objective is to highlight forms of discourse, communicational arrangements and local strategies that make mental health accessible to populations whose languages and cultural references are in a situation of minoritisation.
Proposals may address field studies, theoretical analyses, comparative approaches, practitioner reports from the field or reflections on the design of information and awareness raising tools. Contributions focusing on interactions between health professionals, linguistic mediators and vulnerable audiences will be particularly welcome. Research exploring the creation of adapted terminology, specialised translation, humanitarian mediation, the circulation of representations of mental health or the consideration of narrative frameworks specific to the communities concerned is also welcome.
